My name is Jonah Witte (pronounced "witty").

I'm currently located in Rochester, NY!

Computer Science student

Computers are awesome. Programming provides a way for anyone with an idea to put it into reality; as a person who loves solving problems, the world of computing provides all the problems I could ever hope for.

I'm currently pursuing my Bachelors in Computer Science at Rochester Institute of Technology. I graduate December 2026, so if you're hiring, hit me up!

Game enthusiast

My combination of competetiveness, puzzle-loving, and appreciation for craftsmanship result in me being a fiend for tabletop games.

I have a personal collection I've cultivated of around 100 games, plus more than a dozen I've made myself (although the rules for some of those are long-lost to time).

My all-time favorite games include classics like Dungeons & Dragons (5e, mostly) and Magic: The Gathering, as well as some more recent all-stars like Scythe and Root.

Grass (and rock) toucher

Despite my solid claims to nerdiness, I do like to get out and about. It helps keep the brain juices flowing.

My activities of choice are ultimate frisbee and rock climbing (nerd sports only, don't worry).

If you know of any good frisbee pickups or bouldering gyms, I'm interested to a level on par with my desire for job leads.

Builder

In addition to frontend and backend development, I enjoy creating things in the physical world as well.

Following a passion that started with LEGO, I can usually figure out how to make anything I can't code by instead using lumber and power tools.

Even as my academic career heads in the direction of solving virtual problems, there's something inherently satisfying about working with my hands.
